"Bit by the horse bug form an early age, I was lucky enough to indulge my obsession for everything equine. For years, I was happy to be around them, eat, sleep and breathe them, but something was missing. It wasn't until my late teens that I started to indulge  an almost non-existant side to my passion. I felt the need to creatively reproduce the grace and beauty of the equine form. I wanted people to fall in love with horse, to view them in the same way that I saw them, literally through my eyes.

Using my camera, I enjoy creating abstract imagery of the horse or equine related articles that I find around the barn. More then that, I enjoy capturing the untamed, wild essence and athleticism that is the heart and spirit of the horse. The more I capture, observe and learn about the horse, the more I find out about myself. Photography is much more then obsession, it is an innate part of me. I know, like my love for horses, it will always be there, pushing me to fulfill my artistic ideas. It is a constant reminder in this chaotic world to slow down and enjoy life and all the beauty it has to offer."   - Vivian
